L'uomo in servizio sul Palermo-Milano è stato denunciato dalla Polfer. Sull'episodio, avvenuto su un treno nella stazione di Reggio Emilia un mese fa, Trenitalia ha aperto un'inchiesta interna

Un capotreno delle Ferrovie dello Stato, in servizio sul treno espresso 1920 Palermo-Milano, ha aggredito, insultato con frasi a sfondo razzista e ferito una passeggera cittadina del Ghana, regolarmente in Italia, esidente a Palermo e diretta a Parma. L'uomo, residente a Bologna, è stato denunciato dalla Polizia Ferroviaria parmense per abuso d'ufficio, violenza privata, danneggiamento, ingiurie e percosse.

L'uomo, alla fermata di Reggio Emilia, aveva cominciato ad insultare la donna perché con le valigie occupava lo spazio adiacente alle porte di ingresso. Poi, dopo averle chiesto il biglietto e visto che doveva scendere a Parma, le ha scaraventato una borsa giù dal treno fermo sul binario. Recuperata la valigia, la donna è comunque riuscita a risaliresul convoglio, appena in tempo prima che ripartisse verso Parma.

A quel punto il capotreno le ha prima strappato di mano il biglietto, poi l'ha schiaffeggiata, strattonata ed insultata con fasi a sfondo razzista. Una volta arrivati a Parma la donna, in vidente stato di choc, è scesa dal treno e si è trovata di fronte gli agenti della Polfer. Confrontate le versioni del dipendente Fs (che cercava di attribuire le responsabilità alla passeggera) e della donna, gli agenti si sono insospettiti e sono risaliti ai nomi delle altre persone presenti sul convoglio per raccogliere nuove testimonianze. Queste hanno confermato la versione della vittima e alla fine è scattata la denuncia.

Il fatto è avvenuto lo scorso 14 maggio, ma è stato reso noto solo oggi dalle forze dell'ordine dopo un'attenta verifica delle dichiarazioni rilasciate dal capotreno, dalla donna e dai testimoni. La viaggiatrice aveva subito presentato denuncia alla Polfer, ma allo stesso modo il capotreno aveva imputato alla donna di avere dato in escandescenze in treno. Così gli investigatori hanno sentito vari testimoni per verificare le due versioni contrastanti.

''Sporca negra'', ''schifosi, tornate in Africa'', ''Berlusconi finalmente vi rimanderà tutti a casa''. Sono questi gli insulti che, secondo le testimonianze raccolte dagli agenti della Polizia Ferroviaria, il capotreno avrebbe più volte ripetuto alla cittadina ghanese. La donna, residente a Palermo, stava raggiungendo Parma per fare visita ad alcuni amici e, dopo alcuni giorni, è ritornata in Sicilia. Nella colluttazione con il capotreno la donna ha anche riportato una ferita a una caviglia, ma non ha fatto ricorso alle cure dei medici.

Sui fatti ora indaga la procura di Reggio Emilia, ma Trenitalia ha reso noto di avere aperto un'inchiesta interna subito dopo il fatto. ''L'episodio - ha precisato - è a conoscenza dell'ufficio gestione del personale di Trenitalia in base a una segnalazione pervenuta da altro personale ferroviario in servizio sullo stesso treno. E' stata avviata un'inchiesta interna per appurare l'esatta dinamica dei fatti e dai risultati dipenderanno eventuali provvedimenti disciplinari, come prevede il contratto collettivo nazionale (si va da sanzioni pecuniarie al licenziamento)''. Trenitalia ha sottolineato che ''al momento non è stato ricevuto alcun atto ufficiale, come una denuncia da parte della signora o della Polfer. Ma se ci saranno nuovi elementi potranno condizionare l'esito dell'inchiesta interna''.

LA DONNA E L’INATTESA INFELICITÀ
IL tempo, le nuove tecnologie e le invenzioni non sono serviti a migliorare le condizioni e l’immagine della donna, nella maggior parte del globo. Le donne sono infelici, insoddisfatte, confuse, maltrattate, discriminate ed emarginate; vivono nella paura, tra violenze e abusi all’interno di mura "sicure e silenziose": nelle loro case, nei luoghi di lavoro da parte di familiari o amici.
Molti pensano che oggi la donna debba essere quella della TV, della pubblicità, ma allora la schiavitù delle donne non è finita. Il passato ci "regala" donne rinchiuse in case, mute e sofferenti nella loro solitudine e indifferenza da parte della società maschile e oggi le ritroviamo schiave di un’identità che non appartiene loro: molte di loro infatti, hanno rafforzato involontariamente il maschilismo. È necessario allora che l’uomo e la donna riscoprano le loro radici, i loro ruoli, le loro capacità per poi collaborare reciprocamente per spezzare la catena della violenza e creare quella del rispetto e della dignità. Forse solo allora la donna potrà dire di essere più felice.

ROME – International diplomacy obliges leaders not to comment on the political affairs of other countries.
Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi of Italy, meeting with President Bush here, violated the protocol with an endorsement of Senator John McCain, though he might not necessarily appreciate the reason: Mr. McCain’s the older man.
Mr. Berlusconi, a conservative who is 71, began with a standard demurral when asked his preference at a press conference on Thursday in his official residence, Villa Madama. He then expounded with a command of detail that included Mr. McCain’s date of birth.
“I suppose I could express my own personal preference for one of the candidates,” he said with a pause, “the Republican candidate.”
“And this is for a very selfish reason, and that is that I would no longer be the oldest person at the upcoming G-8,” he said, referring to the annual meeting of the Group of Eight industrial nations, as Mr. Bush smiled, “because McCain is a month older than me.”
In fact, exactly a month, as he made clear. Mr. McCain, whose age has been raised as an issue in the campaign, was born on Aug. 29, 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone; Mr. Berlusconi on Sept. 29 in Milan. The Group of Eight summit in 2009 — should Mr. McCain win the right to attend for the United States in November — will be held around July here in Italy, on the tiny island of La Maddalena, near Sardinia. Both men will be 72.

What a relief for the Romans: the President has left town. Almost everyone
who had something to do with "Roma centro" ( city center) and Vaticano had
it tough. Romans are really one of the most tolerant in stomaching
disturburances of this sort( average of two demonstrations a week) but this

Two streets to all his routs were blocked. The media even reported of some

lost. Even Mr Berlusconi (Prime Minister) lost, because most people did not
spend money in shopping-he owns about 15% of the big shops in Italy.
The streets were deserted , the peace movements, no-globals,anti-Bush etc
groups were kept at other zones of the town,therefore Mr President saw only
the people he was supposed to see and only the people who were supposed to
see him saw him. No more no less. The press called it 'a tunnel tour'.
Personally I enjoyed seeing (on TV) those 32 identical bullet proof dark
vans that came from USA for his escort drive in wonderful security formation
and synchro.

Ten years ago same day , same reason (the 50th anniversary of the liberation
of Roma)Bill Clinton was here and almost everyone in Rome had an American
flag. People missed work to go to the Centro to see Clinton pass and wave at
him ( some Roman girls-trust them- also came to see a huge, handsome
American- as their grandmothers did during the allied entry into the city 50
years earlier). Anyone seen the documentary? All squares were filled with
entertainment tents and benches. It was a big holiday and everyone wanted to
get involved in thanking America .
I happened to be around the city center then (1994) and that was also my
first time of buying an American flag. If I had wanted to I would have taken
a picture with Mr President during a hand shake as many did. He saw and met
all he wanted to see and all who wanted to see him did.
It is on record here that the longest standing ovation at the Quiranale
(Presidential Palace) was after Bill Clintons speech on that occasion. We
learnt that the river Tibers rose an inch because of the emotional tears
from the Romans after that speech.
Naturally, there was a lukewarm or "ignorable" protest from the then
neo-fascists in the town. Curious (or not) to note that most of them are in
this present government in Italy after some 're-cycling'.

My "Stelle e Striscia" stars and stripes flag is still in my study and I
hope I would have the opportunity to welcome another American with it.
May the soul of Reagan Rest in Peace. Amen

Ho due figlie adolescenti che affrontano la scuola, la società e che tra non molto entrerano nel mondo del lavoro. عربيAccording to the following press review at least 12,196 people have died since 1988 along the european frontiers. Among them 4,384 were missing in the sea. In the Mediterranean sea, and through the Atlantic Ocean towards Spain, 8,488 migrants died. In the Sicily channel 2,643 people died along the routes from Libya, Egypt and Tunisia to Malta and Italy, including 1,643 missing; 70 other people drowned sailing from Algeria to Sardinia. Along the routes from Mauritania, Morocco and Algeria towards Spain, through the Gibraltar strait or off Canary islands, at least 4,132 people died, including 1,986 who were missing. Then 895 people died in the Egean sea, between Turkey and Greece, including 461 missing, and 603 people died in the Adriatic sea, between Albania, Montenegro and Italy, including 220 missing. And at least 597 people were drowned trying to reach Frenc island of Mayotte, in the Indian Ocean. But the sea is not only crossed aboard makeshift boats. Sailing hidden inside registered ferries and cargo vessels 148 men died asphyxiated or drowned.
Sahara is a dangerous obliged passage in order to arrive to the sea. People crosse it on trucks as on off-road vehicle along the tracks between Sudan, Chad, Niger and Mali from one side and Libya and Algeria on the other one. Here at least 1,594 people have died since 1996. But according to the survivors, nearly every travel counts its victims. So the number of the victims could be higher and higher. The data includes also the victims of the collective deportations practiced by Tripoli, Algeri and Rabat Governments, accustomed to abandon groups of hundreds migrants in open desert border areas.
In Libya serious migrants abuses are also recorded. There is not any official data, but in 2006 Human rights watch and Afvic accused Tripoli of arbitrary arrests, beatings and tortures in the migrants detention centers, three of which are financed by Italy. In september 2000 in Zawiyah, in the north-west of the Country, at least 560 foreigners were killed during racist putsches
Travelling stowaways in the trucks 284 people were found dead. And 182 migrants drowned crossing border rivers , the majority in the Oder-Neisse, between Poland and Germany; in the Evros, between Turkey and Greece; the Sava, between Hroatia and Bosnia; and the Morava between Slovakia and Czech Republic. Then 112 other people froze to death in their tracks through the icy mountains frontiers, especially in Turkey and Greece. In the Greek border with Turkey there are still mine-fields along Evros river. Here at least 88 people died over the mines trying to enter Grece.
193 migrants were shot dead by border police: 35 of them were killed in Ceuta and Melilla Spanish enclaves in Morocco, 50 ones in The Gambia, 40 in Egypt and 32 in the eastern Turkey, along the Iranian and the Iraqi borders. But few people were also killed by French, German, Spanish and Swiss policemen . And others died in Morocco and Libya. Then 41 men were found dead hidden in the undercarriage of the planes, and 23 people died in Calais, or under the trains in The Channel tunnel trying to reach England, while other 12 people died under other trains in different borders and 2 drowned crossing the Channel
