Though belated, I would rather say Happy Dependent Day to Nigeria till we are able to
• Produce stable electricity and home made generators and stop importing from China,
• make our railroad work again and maintain it effectively without relying on the Indians.
• make our home grown education worth an international recognition without casting cloud of doubt on authenticity of Nigerian Diplomas.
• produce long grain rice and stop importing Uncle Bens and others from Taiwan;
• prevent brain drain.
• Make Nigeria a home for all irrespective of tribe, tongue, gender, sexual orientation or class.
Till then it is Happy Dependent Day to you all. Happy because the whole world is not like Nigeria hence we can depend on them till we grow to be truly independent.
